Meet the Heywoods
Robert & Renée have been married almost 30 years and have been in ministry just as long. They have been committed to seeing people prosper in relationships, finances, music and education. Now published authors, they seek to encourage couples with their recently released book, I Said, "I Do," To All That? They were ordained as Pastors in 2008 and have 2 married sons, 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren.
Pastor Robert
Pastor Robert is an Engineer by education and is currently an IT Director at an Ivy League University. He began in Finance Ministry 30 years ago and has helped couples work through financial issues through counseling and workshops. Robert has been a role model among men and a second father to many. Being the oldest child of 6, Robert has always had a heart to support healthy families. He is a teacher of the Word and enjoys seeing people move into a deeper understanding of God's love.
Pastor Renée
Pastor Renée has been an educator for almost 3 decades She has taught pre-school through Graduate School Spanish. Renée has her Ph.D. in Education with a focus on language, literature and culture. She is the CEO of Real Talk Leadership, a corporation that specializes in organizational development with school districts and organizes conferences for adults and young people. Renée has traveled around the world to support education and youth empowerment around the world in places like Guatemala, Nicaragua and Australia. She has been a mentor and friend to those she has counseled; often using music and laughter as a pathyway to healing.
